Safe volume — up to 300 ml. At this amount, the risk of cysts and lipogranulomas is low, and about 50% of the fat survives. Injecting a larger volume does not improve effectiveness: if 150 ml survives from 300 ml, the result will be the same with 400 ml, but the risk of complications will increase.

Fat must not be injected directly into the gland tissue — this leads to cysts and other problems. It should only be placed above the gland (between the gland and the skin) or below the gland (between the gland and the muscle, where there is loose fatty tissue).

The more native fat tissue present in these areas, the better the graft survival. Therefore, it creates a somewhat unfair situation: in very small breasts, less fat survives compared to a size-two breast, where the conditions for graft survival are more favorable.
